Second of Silents with Kaylee Mansfield: Mantrap

Tallgrass is excited to introduce our newest film series at the Emily Bonavia Tallgrass Film Center, Second of Silents! Hosted by local silent film enthusiast Kaylee Mansfield, this series will be featured on the second Sunday of every month and celebrate the actors, actresses, directors, and producers of the silent era. During Second of Silents programs, you can expect an exploration of the featured film and it's key players, it's social impact at the time of production, and it's enduring cultural relevance. Then... grab your popcorn and enjoy the film! We hope to see you there as we bring the silent legends to the Wichita community.

Plot: A sexy young manicurist living with her older backwoodsman husband in a small Canadian town finds herself attracted to a young, rich and famous divorce lawyer who comes to town on vacation.
