- **Event Description**: Building Blocks is a beginner block printing class. I will be discussing the history and application of block printing as well as explaining and demonstrating the process. This is normally a make and take class but due to site restrictions we weren't able to make it work (this time!). However, if we have time at the end of the class, I would like to invite those interested up to try it for yourself! I will be bringing a limited number of blocks and will have a couple colors of paint available but we will need to share and take turns. 

I will be bringing examples and will explain the differences between printing on various materials and offering some tips and tricks that I have learned along the way! Since I usually teach a very interactive class, questions and discussions are highly encouraged! During the demonstration I encourage folks to gather around my table so that they can see and hear as well as possible. Please be mindful of any attendees that may need to be upfront. The class will be in the Concessions Room and there will be some seats available. Since this is a demo class, I am not restricting the class size but the number of handouts and space will be limited to first come first serve. I will post a link to a digital version as well as linking any further information or vendors.
