• All pitching and catching participants will receive a softball 
donated by Scheels.
• D-BAT West Wichita will host a hitting clinic for girls who want to participate in the 
event but are not pitchers or catchers.
• There will also be food trucks, an inflatable, games and vendors.
• At 6 p.m., KAKE-TV Anchor Deb Farris will emcee the 
speaking portion of the event. She will thank the 
sponsors and introduce Chelsey Mathias from Baird 
Private Wealth Management to speak for a few minutes.
Following that, Monica will speak to the crowd for around 
30 minutes and then take questions from the audience.
• Monica will have merchandise for sale and will be 
available for autographs and pictures after her speech.
• A raffle will be held to raise funds to create a scholarship program so cost isn’t a 
barrier for girls who want to play sports.
