Join us on November 20th for the next installment of our popular Lunch & Learn series, A Bite of History. This month’s presentation, “Women of North Texas: Famous & Infamous,” will be presented by Museum Curator Leanne Ray.
Leanne will take guests on an entertaining journey as we explore the remarkable - and sometimes surprising - stories of women who made their mark far beyond the borders of the Lone Star State.
From Broadway performer Susan Mansur Barr to historian Llerena B. Friend, and even the daring Mimi Webb Miller, these women’s lives reflect the creativity, courage, and complexity of our region’s past. Guests will enjoy an engaging look at how North Texas women shaped the arts, history, and culture across decades.
Bring a friend and enjoy this engaging look at the women who helped make North Texas famous - and in some cases infamous!
Tickets are $10 for MNTx Members and $15 for the general public.
Tickets are available for purchase in person at the Museum or online at MNTx.org.
