Saturday, November 15, 2 - 3:30 p.m. Felt Paintings: Painting with Texture
Discover a whole new way to "paint" — using felt! In this creative workshop, you'll explore how to create a textile painting by layering and arranging different types of felt to bring your imagery to life. Instead of using brushes and paint, you’ll cut, layer, and glue colorful pieces of felt, much like working with paint strokes, to build shapes, add depth, and create texture. You’ll learn to think about color, contrast, and composition in a fresh, hands-on way. Perfect for anyone who loves experimenting with materials and wants to explore a fun, tactile art form. All materials provided — just bring your imagination!
Bring your imagination and a sprinkle of good cheer as we “paint” with soft, colorful wool to create a cozy 6x6-inch felted masterpiece.
Using layers of fluffy fibers and gentle needle felting techniques, you’ll blend textures and colors like a painter mixes brushstrokes—only warmer and fuzzier! This joyful process is part art, part therapy, and entirely fun.
Come laugh, relax, and craft your own wooly little work of art to brighten the winter season!
