Port Pirie will once again sparkle in the spotlight as the Port Pirie SALA Winter Festival returns for a spectacular day and night of creativity, colour and community celebration on Saturday 2 August 2025 from 10am-10pm at Memorial Park!
Now in its fourth year, this much-loved event is a highlight on the regional winter calendar. This year's theme, "Light Up the Night!", invites visitors to explore art in all its forms—through immersive installations, glowing creations, and the collective warmth of shared experiences.
🎸 Headliner Musical Entertainment: Get ready for an unforgettable rock odyssey with the Filthy Animals! Featuring Australia’s most legendary musicians, this powerhouse band will deliver all the rock hits you know and love. With Skenie (The Poor) on vocals, Dave Leslie (The Baby Animals) and Pete Robinson (Electric Mary) on guitar, Stu Rudd (Superjesus) on bass, Kerry Jacobson (Dragon) on drums, and Andrew Szumowski (The Badloves) on keys, the Filthy Animals promise a night of true Australian rock royalty.
✨ Other Festival Highlights: Dive into creativity at the Art & Craft Tent, enjoy Carnival Rides & Interactive Activities for all ages, and create luminous artworks at the Glow-in-the-Dark Workshops. The night will close with a stunning Pyrotechnic Spectacular fireworks display!
