Our Youth / Our Festival, a brand-new community celebration designed and delivered by students from John Pirie Secondary School, will showcase the energy, imagination, and leadership of the region’s youth. This event is driven by the students’ slogan and ethos – “Where students' voices shape community choices”.

Our Youth / Our Festival is more than just an event—it’s a statement about the future of Port Pirie. By amplifying youth voices and supporting their ideas, it creates stronger connections across the community and celebrates the next generation of leaders.

Location: Port Pirie Foreshore/Solomontown Beach

Time: 3.00pm onwards

Activities:  A range of youth-designed activities including arts, music, games, food stalls and more

The program will include:

- Youth-led music and performances
- BMX/MTB demos and competitions
- The Pirie Fear Fest haunted experience
- Creative workshops and interactive arts
- Food trucks and local market stalls
- Splash Zone water fun and games
- Games, prizes and more
