Now in its 9th year, this event is proving popular and has sold out each year. Join us for the Saxon Shore Half Marathon and 10k along the lovely seafronts of Whitstable and Herne Bay. We have a great Event HQ, with an Event Village. We also have enhanced aid stations, every 5k along the route. The Event Village is a great place for family and friends to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and is in easy reach of some great viewing points along the course.
***NEW FOR 2026*** We are delighted to announce the Saxon Shore After Party at Whitstable Castle. We will have food and drink with a live band. Access to the party is included in your entry and is the perfect way to celebrate with all your running buddies after you have run. Invite your family and friends to join you in this unique location.
The majority of the 2 lap route is along the seafront from Whitstable to the edge of Herne Bay and back and in most part is fairly flat and fast, making it ideal for beginners or those looking for a quick time.
