When Mary, a council-funded robot postulant, arrives at the crumbling St Grace’s Convent, the nuns face an unexpected clash between tradition and technology.

As Easter looms, old certainties unravel, faith collides with artificial intelligence, and they question of what it means to be truly human in a rapidly changing world.

Darkly funny and thought-provoking, Electric Rosary is a sharp new play about belief, change, and the future of faith.

Winner of the Bruntwood Prize Judges’ Award, it premiered at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre to critical acclaim.
