- **Event Description**: Celebrate World Falconry Day! Members of the Piedmont Falconry Collective will be on hand to talk about this ancient and unique sport, show off their various birds of prey and how they are used in hunting and how to get involved in the sport! A few of the birds that will be showing off include the Eurasion Eagle Owl, North American Goshawk, American Barn Owl, Harris Hawk and more (day-of lineup may vary)! 

Drop in anytime between 12:00 and 2:00 pm to chat with falconers and view the birds. A more formal presentation will take place at 1:00 pm. Please respect the birds by leaving your pets at home! Dress for the weather, bring a water bottle, camera and a camp chair if you would like to sit. Restrooms are available near by. 

Open to all ages and anyone interested in viewing the birds and wanting to learn about falconry. No registration is required. Check here for any weather-related updates. The program will take part in a grassy area near the parking lot at the Marina Office.
