? Start your adventure by learning how to use binoculars like a pro! Then:

•	? Learn to listen to birds and spot them in their habitats
•	? Go on a scavenger hunt and bird search
•	? Explore bird groups and practice identifying your feathered friends
•	? Meet the backyard birds of Texas
? Guided Hike:
Take a 1-mile trek along a secret back trail behind our HQ office, listening to birds, using your binoculars, and discovering nature up close!

? After the hike:
We’ll work on a fun bird-themed activity to put your new skills to the test!

✨ Bring along:
•	Comfortable walking/hiking shoes and a light jacket
•	Backpack with snacks and water
•	Bug spray and sunscreen (optional)
•	Binoculars if you have them (we have a few to spare)
•	Curiosity & sense of adventure!

? Bonus: Every young explorer gets a Junior Ranger Journal, Explorer’s Guidebook & a Backyard Birds in Texas booklet. And at the end, each participant will receive a Junior Ranger Badge & Certificate and take the Junior Ranger Oath (optional) officially joining the ranks of Texas nature explorers!
