PAYMENT INFORMATION

• Payment must be submitted at the time the application is completed using the provided payment link.
• Applications submitted without payment will not be accepted.

ATTIRE & OVERALL PRESENTATION

• Formal wear is required for all age divisions.
• Contestants should present a neat, age-appropriate appearance.
• Age-appropriate makeup is permitted.
• Hair pieces and hair extensions are permitted.
• No visible tattoos.
• No facial piercings during competition.
• No gum chewing while on stage.
• Judges reserve the right to deduct points for attire, appearance, or presentation deemed inappropriate for the contestant’s age division.

• Baby Division: 0–6 Months
• Tiny Division: 7–12 Months
• Mini Division: 13–23 Months
• Petite Division: 2–3 Years
• Junior Division: 4–6 Years
• Little Miss Division: 7–9 Years
• Pre-Teen Division: 10–12 Years
• Teen Division: 13–15 Years
• Miss Division: 16–18 Years

• Contestants must compete in the age division that corresponds with their age on the date of the pageant.
• Divisions with only two contestants may be combined at the discretion of the Pageant Director.
• The pageant is open to contestants from McCreary County and surrounding counties.

PAGEANT PROCEDURES

• All contestants compete in Evening Gown.
• Divisions will compete in age order.
• Crowning will take place immediately following each division.
• If a contestant is late or fails to appear, the pageant will continue as scheduled.
• Once the pageant begins, the schedule will proceed without delay.
• There are no exceptions to application deadlines.

TEEN & MISS DIVISIONS

• Contestants ages 16–18 are required to answer the question provided on the registration form.
• Responses will be read aloud by the pageant emcee during competition.

JUDGING

• All divisions will be judged using a basic scoring system.
• Judges will score contestants individually on official score sheets.
• Scores will be tabulated and the contestant with the highest total score will be declared the winner.
• Judges’ decisions are final and will not be subject to appeal or review.
• No contestant, parent, family member, or representative may contact or approach judges before, during, or after the pageant regarding scores, placements, or judging decisions.
• The identity of the judges will remain confidential and will not be released by the Pageant Director or Board.
• Individual score sheets will be available following the pageant.
• Score sheets will not be mailed or distributed after the pageant date.

CONTESTANT & FAMILY CONDUCT

• Good sportsmanship is expected from all contestants, parents, family members, and guests.
• Unsportsmanlike conduct, disruptive behavior, or disrespect toward contestants, judges, staff, volunteers, or audience members will not be tolerated.
• The Pageant Director reserves the right to disqualify a contestant or remove individuals from the venue for inappropriate behavior.
• Contestants involved in inappropriate conduct may be disqualified, lose eligibility for future pageants, or forfeit any title awarded.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Tables and chairs will be provided for hair and makeup preparation.
• Contestants must bring their own mirrors.
• Admission is $5.00 per person.
• Children ages 2 and under are admitted free.
• All contestants are admitted free.

• The McCrearyFest Parade Board, pageant assistants, Senior Citizens Center, McCreary County Fiscal Court, volunteers, and venue staff are not responsible for lost or stolen items, injuries, accidents, or damages.
