What you can expect:

In a warm, safe and inclusive environment, we begin with an introduction to you and your baby.
Each session starts with a check on Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation), warm up with emphasis on Pilates principles, alignment, breathing, core activation, followed by a range of conditioning exercises and a section concentrating on activation of the pelvic floor.

The focus will be on dealing with issues which may have arisen during pregnancy and labour, in particular, targeting the weakened (potentially separated) abdominal muscles and stretched pelvic floor.

Classes will be full of new mums, often looking for the chance to share their experiences, socialise and chat, so we offer a drink and biscuit to finish the class :-)

Exercises will rebuild your deep abdominals, shoulders and hips, whilst assisting with back pain. You will feel lengthened, relaxed and energised after the class.

Prams are more than welcome and there is parking on either side of the venue.

I will be offers hot drinks and biscuits at the end for everyone who fancy’s staying for a chat.

Please note this class is suitable from 6 weeks post uncomplicated birth, or 12 weeks assisted birth.
