Seed Money Grant Application for Garden

Serenity Central has applied to Seed Money for a grant to plant a vegetable, herb and edible flower garden. Its aim in establishing the garden is two-fold: (1) to use the produce in meals served during retreats to foster nutritious meals as an important aspect of personal health and well-being, and (2) to donate surplus produce to the Food Bank of Vermont in Brattleboro, VT, as a 2022 study found that 2 out of 5 Vermonters had experienced food insecurity within the preceding year. The grantor requires applicants to raise "other funds," and the more other funds raised, the larger the possible grant award. The Seed Money fundraising page for Serenity Central can be found at:
