Little shepherds Trail
Come join us along with the 606 Jeeping Association of Ky group for a fun day on one of the most beautiful trails in the Appalachian Mountains! We do this ride a few times a year but rarely do the whole trail at once. But since our friends from 606 Jeeping are joining us, we will spend the day on the whole trail, both the paved and off-road sections 😊so If you want an all day ride with breathtaking views at every turn, then this ride is for you!! We will be following Little Shepherds Trail along the main top of pine mountain!
To start this ride We will meet up at pine mt grill in whitesburg Ky at 10am and leave at 10:30am sharp! Please be fueled up and ready to go. Bring drinks and radio if you have one.
We will first be hitting the paved section of the trail. This section takes about two hours and ends in the gorgeous Kingdom Come State park! We will stop at one of the beautiful overlooks for a break before entering the park. Once in the park we will stop at the gift shop for a restroom break they also have a wide range gifts, snacks, and drinks.
After the break We then will start the off-road section of the trail. This is a stock trail but there are a few rutted out places and your jeep will get muddy! If you choose not to do this section you can easily leave from the park and head out.
The off-road section also follows along the top of pine mt and has amazing views at every turn! This section also takes about 2 hours and is a super fun off-road trail. We will make a couple stops at overlooks for pictures. This part of the trail will end in Harlan Ky. 💜
