This group get together is perfect for anyone new to trail running, or for those that just want to be in community out on the trails in nature! Trail running (and running with experienced trail runners) can feel a bit intimidating at first.
Ultrarunner and Coach Courtney Wolfe wants to help you feel empowered, confident and joyful out there on the trail!
Each month, we will meet at and run a different trail (or series of shorter trails), progressively moving to longer distances or more varied terrain. This second run will be just 3, 5 or 7 (ish) miles, with anyone wanting 3 or 5 having the opportunity to stop there, 7 for those wanting to go just a little longer. Courtney will lead a short dynamic warmup to get our bodies ready and we will venture out from there. Truly, ALL paces are welcome… no one will be left behind! Trail running is about slowing down, soaking in the experience, having fun and yes, sometimes walking! If you struggle with taking your time, we encourage you to leave your watch behind and get out of your head! Mindset is part of training, too!
There is absolutely no charge for these monthly runs, but we do ask you to RSVP by registering… this way, we know who to look out for (and we also have your e-mail so we can send you more details about meeting locations, future trail running events, training opportunities and experiences!).
