This year has seen historic amounts of snowfall, so why not make the most of it?!

Join snowshoe aficionado, Don White, for a 5 week group trek in and around the Mount McIntyre area!

This series is open and welcoming to all levels of snowshoeing skill and experience. There is a basic fitness requirement of feeling comfortable walking through deep snow for 1.5 hours.

• The group meets weekly from 11:30am-1pm on Tuesdays. Please be on time, as the group may be unable to wait for late participants.
• The first trek is on Tuesday, February 16th, and the last trek is on Tuesday, March 16th
• The meeting point will be at the corner of the tennis court, at the entry to the parking lot on Sumanik Drive (across from the "Welcome to Mount McIntyre" sign)
• Choose the appropriate ticket, depending on whether you have your own snowshoes or if you will need to rent a pair.
• Bring walking poles/ski poles . If you do not have your own, ElderActive poles will be available for use.
• Dress appropriately for the weather (breathable layers, appropriate footwear).
• Bring water and snacks.
