Level 3: Restorative Practices for Complex and Sensitive Cases: 2 Days, 14 hours

This is a 2 day, certified facilitation training for Complex and Sensitive cases designed by Charlotte Calkin of Restorative Engagement Forum, curated to the Yukon context. This course builds on the skills learned in Level 2, digging deeper into the specific requirements of cases relating to domestic violence, sexual harm and intimate partner violence. It covers: working through detailed risk assessments, interview techniques, and the route through complex and sensitive cases to their appropriate restorative conclusion. The course details shuttle work, restorative letters as well as the complexities of a face to face meeting. We also focus on outcome agreements, post intervention and exit strategies. Prerequisite is our Level 2 training or an equivalent.
