Such a great feeling to ski with your dog. It can seem easy, but to have a safe and enjoyable experience, guidance might be needed. Would you like to ski with your four-legged companion but need some advice and guidance?
Sue Richards from Sue Richards' Pawsitive Canine Training and Services will be offering courses to help you and your pupper start a lifetime of skiing together.
It will be a 2-part course where you will be joining a group of 6 participants for an on boots on the ground session (without skis) in the Dog Parking lot/trailhead, and then have the opportunity to get a one on one 1/2 hour ski session with Sue (the group session will be mandatory to have access to the private lesson).
THIS IS NOT A SKIJORING COURSE
Some info for the session:
- Your dog should be at least one (1) year old
- Your dog should already be comfortable around people and other dogs and have basic obedience.
- Wearing a flat collar, preferably a dog harness if you have one
- Please bring A lot of dog treats - more treats than you would think
- Leach and long line, if you have one
