Sea in the Blood: the seafarers of Islandmagee

A talk looking at the strong seafaring connections in Islandmagee's history. From those who went around the world in the Windjammer era to those who fished off the coast in small fleets in the 19th century, the ferry operators and the shipowners of a bygone era, this talk will example those labelled 'Sea Farmers' by author Jack London in the early 20th century.
