Celebrating its 70th anniversary this summer, Michigan’s Adventure opened in 1956 as Deer Park, a small petting zoo roadside attraction. After a purchase by the Jourden family in 1968, the animals began being sold off for rides and became an amusement park known as Deer Park Funland. Their first coaster installation was in 1979 with the Arrow Development Corkscrew. The park is home to three wooden coasters as well: Wolverine Wildcat, the first Dinn & Summer wooden coasters; Zach’s Zoomer, a CCI junior woodie that is an ACE Coaster Classic; and Shivering Timbers, a ride that needs no introduction and is consistently rated among the world’s best wooden roller coasters.

This event is only for ACE members and their guests. Event registration is required to participate in all of the activities and hosted by the American Coaster Enthusiasts and Michigan’s Adventure.
