what to expect: during this 90-minute workshop we'll learn the traditional shim sham! this will be taught at a beg / int pace and will be filmed at the end so you can review and practice.

who is this for: anyone interested in learning the shim sham (or who might need a refresher!) 

what to wear: you can take this class in socks or clean sneakers - though tap shoes are very much recommended! we have most sizes in the studio for you to borrow as needed. if you are looking to purchase tap shoes - bloch and capezio are recommended brands.

p.s. save the date for our second annual student showcase, the Rio Show! we will have matinee and evening performances on sunday, june 14 at the Performing Arts Center in Whitefish. (spoiler alert: we will be closing out the show with the shim sham and inviting anyone in the audience who knows the dance to join us!)
