Due to popular request, Stillness returns for an encore evening of calm, guided creativity.

This peaceful winter painting features a soft, snowy owl resting quietly in a forest of cool blues — a piece that invites stillness, reflection, and gentle focus. It’s a beautiful winter artwork and a meaningful piece to take home.

This class is fully guided and taught step by step, making it suitable for beginners and anyone who enjoys a relaxed, intentional paint experience.

Registration Cut-Off: Noon on February 22
Seats are limited. Early registration is encouraged.

? WHAT TO EXPECT

This is a guided, technique-based paint event, not an open studio.

You’ll be led step by step through the painting process, focusing on:

Soft background blending

Gentle layering and texture

Building highlights without heavy paint application

The goal is a calm, enjoyable experience where everyone moves through the painting together at an easy pace.

? CLASS MATERIALS & PROCESS

To ensure a smooth and consistent class experience:

All participants paint using the supplies and colors provided

Paint quantities are intentionally limited to support the techniques being taught

Each painter receives a prepared palette for the class

Outside paints, brushes, or alternate methods are not permitted, as they disrupt the shared group experience.

Minor color choices may be made within the provided palette while following the guided instruction.

? PAID SEAT POLICY

Every seat must be a paid seat

Each person attending must have their own registered canvas

Observers or shared canvases are not permitted

This ensures fairness and allows the class to run smoothly for everyone.

? APRONS (OPTIONAL)

Aprons are available when registering:
• Kids’ aprons: $5
• Adult aprons: $8
• Shirt aprons: $30
—or feel free to bring your own.

? FOOD & DRINKS

Guests are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy food and beverages available from The Garage Brewhouse & Pub before the event begins.

? CANCELLATION POLICY

Classes begin promptly at 6:00 PM

Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be applied to future events

Cancellation / No-Show:
• 24+ hours’ notice: A Paint Pack Kit will be provided
• Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show: No refund and no Paint Pack

Ticket transfers are permitted with advance notice.

Paint Packs must be picked up within 14 days.

Sharon Burrows is a community artist and Canadian Choice Award Winner 2025 & Nominee 2026 in Paint Party Services.

A fine artist since 2013, Sharon works from her Whitecourt home studio in acrylic, oil, watercolor, alcohol ink, and mixed media. Her teaching style is calm, encouraging, and process-focused — helping participants feel confident while enjoying the creative journey.
