Join us on May 15 & 16, 2026 (Friday and Saturday) for this exciting conference in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, located on Whitecap Dakota First Nation territory.IPACC is proud to partner with Sask Sport in hosting the 2026 National Indigenous Physical Activity & Wellness (NIPAW) Conference – working together to celebrate and advance Indigenous sport, health, and community wellness. This year's conference theme highlights the power of sport to motivate and uplift Indigenous youth, fostering wellness, connection, and community strength.We are excited to bring together over 30 diverse leader voices at NIPAW 2026, where they will share perspectives on the vital role of Indigenous knowledge and community based practices that enhance wellness. This year, conference will focus on motivating youth to be involved in sport. By centering this year’s dialogue on youth motivation, we hope to create space for grounded discussions on how sport can uplift our young people, honour traditional ways of being active, and strengthen community wellness for future generations.This gathering is more than a conference–it’s a space to connect, learn, and celebrate together. Be part of the movement at www.iactive.ca.📍 In-Person Conference Location: Dakota Dunes ResortDakota Dunes Resort is located on Whitecap Dakota Territory, just 20 minutes south of Saskatoon, and is connected to the Dakota Dunes Casino and golf course. The resort includes a main conference centre with multiple flexible meeting rooms, on-site catering services, and accommodations for guests. Its setting on Dakota lands provides important cultural and historical significance, and the venue regularly hosts community, cultural, and professional gatherings.Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide attendees with a discounted guest room rate.📍 Virtual ConferenceThe conference can also be attended virtually through Zoom! This option can be selected in the ticket menu.📍 Friday Night Social – May 15, 2026Join us on Friday evening for our conference social event at Dakota Dunes Resort.
