SCIENCE EXPLORER WEEK: MUSEUM MAKEOVER

What makes you say "WOW!"?

Did you know that’s the first question we ask ourselves when deciding if we want something on exhibit at the museum? Now, it’s YOUR TURN to decide!

During this special week, explorers will learn what it takes to create a museum exhibit that WOWS guests. Students will take a private tour with a Tellus exhibit designer to learn the ins and outs of curating an exhibit that will teach, excite, and engage museum visitors. Then, using miniature models of exhibits, students will become the architects of their own exhibition by making a diorama of a museum gallery to take home.

PLAN AHEAD:
- Drop-off begins at 8:45 AM (camp begins at 9 AM)
- Explorers must be picked up by 12:15 PM
- Before Care and After Care not available

REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
- All daily supplies 
- Souvenir T-shirt
- Daily snack
- Museum admission for the registrant

Families dropping off or picking up participating students may purchase discount admission tickets onsite. Please note, the museum does not open for visiting until 10 AM.

9 AM - 12 PM

Registration closes at noon on Friday, July 11, 2025 or when it reaches maximum capacity. Advance registration is required; limited space available. Cancellation policy: Must cancel before July 9, 2025 for full refund.
