NOTE: 24hr number plate surveillance cameras are in use at Bribie Island Recreation Area. A penalty of $241 applies for entering a recreation area without a valid vehicle access permit
Trip Details:
We'll air tyres down (18-20 psi) and have a brief trip meeting. Trip departs via Poverty Road heading north on the Northern Access Track. We may pop into Poverty Creek camping area as we pass by on our way north to the Fort Bribie Day use area. Following a short break at the day use area we will head out to the beach and on to the remains of the gun emplacements. Following a walk and explore around the Fort remains we will head back the Fort Bribie Day use area for a facilities break. We then drive south on ocean beach looking for a lunch spot near one of the lagoons. Lunch and swim/beach games to follow till around 3pm when we will head south to Woorim beach access track, exit beach and air up at Bribie Island access car park. Trip finishes 3:30pm.
Be prepared for any type of weather rain, sun, wind etc., bring your own food, water shade, chairs, beach games and a sense of adventure.
This trip will be perfect for visitors, new members, and all 4WD capable Jeeps!
Minimum safety gear for all BJC trips:
Enclosed footwear is mandatory for all off road trips except beach trips
Rated vehicle tow hooks front and rear. A Hayman Reese recovery adaptor is good for the rear tow hook.

Alcohol is not to be consumed by drivers or passengers on runs
No illegal drugs or firearms are permitted at any time.
It is recommended that you:
Take sufficient water and food for the duration of the trip
Fill up with petrol before you arrive at the meeting point
Take sunscreen, insect repellent and a hat.
