Please join us for our third annual Fall Farm Fundraiser to support our non-profit therapeutic riding program, Starz Equestrian Center. Starz utilizes the healing power of horses to meet the needs of the community whether that is by supplying weekly riding lessons for those with physical, mental, or emotional special needs, those impacted in the community by the Oxford School Shooting, or providing a curriculum for Girl Scout troops to obtain their horse knowledge badge.
Tickets are $50 for presale ($60 at the door) and $20 for children 5 and under. Your ticket includes a buffet-style meal, dessert table, horses and other farm animal meet, kid's craft station, face painting, photo station, corn hole, beginner line dance lessons and open dance floor, silent auction, and a bonfire. **Because our event does not have a liquor license, alcohol will not be supplied at the event, however patrons are welcome to bring their own beverages and drink responsibly.** Join us in celebrating our 2025 Star Student, Artie Barnes, and hear about how horses have impacted his life!
***Do you know what your donation is doing in our community?***
In 2024, we were able to purchase a 20 acre farm to continue expanding our programming, completely renovate our fencing system and removed the dangerous electric fencing, add a horse to our herd, host 40 Girl Scout troops, partner with nonprofit Camp Casey to provide horses for their programs, host summer camps in partnership with Detroit Horsepower, provide equine activities for wards of the state, and provided 2 students with scholarship opportunities over the year to keep them in the saddle.
In 2025, we were able to add heat to the arena to allow the environment to remain comfortable for our riders who participate with us year round. They find such a benefit to therapeutic equine activities that giving us the option to heat the arena will improve strength and flexibility during our sessions which in turn improves safety. 2026 plans include drawing up plans for future construction our equine community center building, which will house summer camps, allow options for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists to run sessions before utilizing equine connections, as well as offering enrichment such as music classes, yoga classes, and open sensory gym time.
We are so thankful you've decided to join us on this ride!
If you cannot attend, please consider donating to our program. We are a 501c3 non-profit and all donations are tax-deductible. Anyone interested in donating something to our silent auction or becoming a sponsor, please contact us at
