Join us as we trot into the Lunar New Year with an evening of creativity, connection and equine magic. This special Year of the Horse celebration supports STARZ Equestrian Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit therapeutic horseback riding program.

In Chinese astrology, the Horse symbolizes strength, resilience, freedom, and forward momentum; a meaningful way to step into the new year with intention and hope. If you'd like, wearing red symbolizes joy, good fortune, and protection during the Lunar New Year.

? Schedule of Events  

4:00 PM – Horse Connection 
Ground yourself in nature while meeting and interacting with our therapy horses. 

4:30 PM – Sound Bowl Meditation 
A 30-minute soothing sound bowl session donated by Glorious Healing, beginning with a guided breathing exercise.  

4:00–6:30 PM – Creative & Wellness Experiences 
Create and reflect at our vision board art stations, explore calming aromatherapy and essential oils, and relax with a cozy hot tea bar and light snacks. Please note: diet and allergy requests cannot be accommodated. 

4:00–6:30 PM – Card Readings & Healing Sessions 
Enjoy short, guided experiences for reflection and relaxation. 
- Oracle card mini readings from Abstract Forest (Waterford). Oracle cards are an intuitive tool used for reflection and guidance, helping illuminate themes you may be moving through. Nicolette, the practitioner behind Abstract Forest, offers channeled readings, intuitive energy healing, and 1:1 coaching focused on clarity, self-awareness, and personal growth.

- Intuitive healing sessions from Hive Holistic Center (Flint) aimed at releasing energetic blockages, promoting relaxation, and supporting emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Hive Holistic Center is owned by Hunter O’Connor, who brings over 15 years of experience across holistic modalities, from ancestral practices to modern neuroscience. 

5:30–5:45 PM – Chair Yoga Session 
A gentle, accessible chair yoga session donated by Cynthia Bass, incorporating breathwork and light stretching in the presence of the horses. 

6:30 PM – Fireworks Celebration 
A small festive fireworks display to celebrate the New Year and welcome joy and good fortune.

$30 in advance | $40 day of/at the door 

“Flying Wishes” $3 per wish: Write hopes, dreams, or intentions or release regrets and fears on special wish paper and watch as they are lit and lifted into the air, symbolizing renewal and letting go.

All proceeds go to benefit STARZ Equestrian Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit therapeutic horseback riding program dedicated to bringing horses to meet the needs of our community in a fully inclusive environment! All donations are tax deductible and go straight to the program.
