- **Event Description**: Lou Sargent is a local silversmith who makes contemporary silver jewellery commissions and runs workshops using traditional hand tools and simple techniques for those new to this craft.

The pair of silver stacking rings is a beautiful gift to yourself or a loved one.  You will make a simple beaded silver band to sit alongside a chunky silver ring, which you can texture and personalise with initial stamps if you wish.

The workshop has exclusive use of the beautiful cafe at the Mill, with coffee and light refreshments available to buy.

It starts at 10.30 am and finishes at 1.30 pm.

All materials and tools will be provided.

There is a limited number of participants (8 max), allowing for plenty of attention for each participant.

Making silver jewellery involves fine work with hand tools, ranging from pliers, jeweller’s saws, hammers and soldering with a blowtorch.

It is suitable for beginners, but participants must be aged 16+.
