- **Event Description**: Lou Sargent is a local silversmith who makes contemporary silver jewellery commissions and runs workshops using traditional hand tools and simple techniques for those new to this craft.

The silver sea glass pendant workshop offers you the opportunity to make a truly unique piece of jewellery. There will be a wide range of irregular shapes and colours of sea glass to choose from. You will wrap your sea glass in a silver bezel and set a link for a chain. If you would like to purchase a chain, you can at the time of booking your place.

The workshop has exclusive use of the beautiful cafe at the Mill, with coffee and light refreshments available to buy.
It starts at 10.30 am and finishes at 1.30 pm.

All materials and tools will be provided.
There is a limited number of participants (8 max), allowing for plenty of attention for each participant.

Making silver jewellery involves fine work with hand tools, ranging from pliers, jeweller’s saws, hammers and soldering with a blowtorch.
It is suitable for beginners, but participants must be aged 16+.
