Maximum of four horses plus my own, parking on grass with lots of space.

This route is hilly, so please make sure your horse is fit, and it includes a river crossing. There may be cattle out; the planned route does avoid their usual fields however we may walk along a fence next to them. There is minimal roadwork (just country lanes and villages) but agricultural vehicles may be encountered and we do go through a couple of quiet farmyards.

I am planning to guide this route on Ralf, my 24 year old Exmoor pony. He is a confident lad and will happily lead you all past or through virtually anything, but he does occasionally have a jigjog from the sheer joy of being out and about. If this worries you please drop me a message to discuss.
