The first event in TOPS — Durham Region Reading Series is a collaboration with Trent University-Durham on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 at the Whitby Public Library (405 Dundas Street West, Whitby, ON). Doors open at 6:30pm for seating and book sales. Starts at 7pm. Admission is free, and tickets are now available.
Hosts: Lisa Reynolds, Durham Region Branch Manager for The Ontario Poetry Society & Concetta Principe, Assistant Professor, Trent University-Durham.
Event Details:
Four featured authors read (Lucy Black, Hollay Ghadery, Greg Frankson, and Tom Taylor), followed by a discussion panel.
