Drawing with Wire – what’s that all about? Join us for a fun, expressive workshop where you’ll discover just how creative wire can be.

Our workshop leader Mark has been involved with the arts for many years, working in many different mediums – however, drawing with wire is a particular favourite of his. As Mark puts it, “It’s cheap and easy to start, but full of amazing potential. It can soon become addictive!
Inspired by wire artist and sculptor Alexander Calder, Mark will guide you through using tools to bend, twist, weave and shape wire into your own unique 2D and 3D wire drawings. Expect plenty of hands-on making, lots of fun, and a creative experience that just might leave you hooked.

Suitable for beginners and those who have had a go at working with wire before.

Keep your finished piece all to yourself, or maybe give as a gift. The workshop would also make a great gift for a special occasion.

Limited places – booking essential. Tickets £38, price includes tuition, all materials and a lovely cuppa from our café.
