- **Event Description**: Join us for the second module in our Arboriculture and Urban Ecosystems Career Training Series!

This FREE module will focus on Tree and Plant Health Care. Learn how to recognize signs of tree diseases and disorders, identify common problems such as pests and nutrient issues, and better understand tree health and care.

The training will include a mix of classroom instruction and hands-on field experience. 

Tree Health Care Session Dates:
September 3  9am-12pm - Planting and Root management
September 4  9am-12pm - Trees and Construction / Decay and Risks
September 5  9am-3pm (Field Day) - Volunteer tree planting event!
September 10  9am-12pm - Nutrients and Fertilization
September 11  9am-12pm - Soil Texture and Structure
September 17  9am-12pm - fertilizer math
September 18  9am-12pm - Diseases and Disorders- Intro to IPM
September 24  9am-12pm - Insects pests 
September 25  9am-12pm - Review plant health / post test

You do not have to attend all sections but you must preregister by Noon on the Monday before!
