Admission to The Hamburger Farm Includes:
A ride to and from the Hamburger Farm site on the BPF Railroad
A 45-minute guided tour of the farm that grows the crops needed for a hamburger including:
Hands-on activities such as grinding wheat into flour, milking a “cow” to get milk for cheese, digging potatoes to learn how they are cut into French fries
Information about each crop they are seeing and its role in the hamburger, the importance of bees in agriculture along with other “good” and “bad” insects, and the role of California agriculture
A self-guided tour of WeeLand Petting Zoo
Be aware that each group must assemble for a safety video upon entry to Weeland. A maximum of 50 people can be admitted every 3 minutes, so there may be a short wait to enter.
Play time at Coyote Mt. Mine, Farmer Bill's Barn, Tree House, and/or other various open-play areas around the farm.
Nutritious hamburger lunch to include: a hamburger, potato chips, sugar cookie, and milk or water to drink (meets school lunch requirements)
