Partcipants will be introduced to each machine, provided operational overview, safety considerations, and have hands-on experience.During this 4-hour workshop learn how to build your own custom hardwood cutting board. I will expertly guide you as you learn how to safely use a variety of essential wood shop tools. You will gain practical skills in milling rough lumber, edge-gluing boards, clamping, sanding, and applying a food-safe finish. We will also cut a single "weave", adding a mind-boggling detail to your boards. Willing partners can swap half their board to take the second glue-up to the next level!By the end of the workshop, you'll proudly take home a beautiful board you made yourself.$150 per participant, $120 for CCM members.
