Get ready to brighten up the Hatea Loop once again! Join us for the fourth annual Whangārei Pride Parade, a celebration of love, diversity, takatāpui and community, followed by the fabulous Gaÿla at Pūtahi Park.
Parade Details:
📍 Meet at Pohe Island (Rock n Roll Club / Football Club) Carpark
🕙 Gather from 3.00pm for opening karakia and safety briefing
🚶♂️ Parade begins at 3.30pm following the loop over Te Matau ā Pohe bridge and on to Pūtahi Park
📸 Pausing on both bridges for photo ops - keep vibes high!
Gaÿla at Pūtahi Park:
🎶 Performances, stalls, food, and community vibes from 3.30pm-7pm (or continue on celebrating at our after party at Pride HQ on John St)
📸 Be part of our epic group photo in Pūtahi Park at approximately 4.15pm to commemorate the day
