About the event

August clean-up
NEW VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Come and join our friendly group keeping rubbish out of the river and ocean. It's only an hour's light work, after which we enjoy social time. We always meet on the second Saturday of the month.
The Apanui Saltmarsh Care Group August clean-up will be held on Saturday 9th at 8 am. Volunteers should meet in the car park on the corner of McAlister and Beach Streets and wear gumboots or suitable footwear. All equipment is provided. If the weather is uncertain, listen to Radio 1XX just after 7am for a cancellation notice. Regular volunteers will be emailed. For more information, please contact Colin Harrison on 07 308 7974.
