- **Event Description**: Bikers For Action SW are appealing for Minions for little Stanley for 2026's ride,  please come and join us for fun day's/weekend of riding and beaming smiles.
As many of you know our Grandson Stanley was diagnosed with brain tumour in December 2021. 
Since then it has spread with another tumour appearing on the brain and one on his spine, original tumour has stabilised after ongoing treatment, the second has shrunk, the one on spine removed after an operation, during his treatment I through my group BIKERS FOR ACTION SW set up the Superhero FUNraiser Ride (first one 2022, again in 2023, 2024 and 2025) to specifically put a much needed smile on Stanley's and family faces. In May 2023 we had more devastating news that another tumour had appeared on Stanley’s brain and at present is on Palliative Care. After the success of this year's ride (July 2025) we were hit with devastating news that 2 more tumours had appeared on Stanley's brain and today (July 21st) underwent Gamma Knife treatment to remove these two.
So today to help Stanley show him the support he has through his biker family I'm calling on you beautiful bikers not only in Bikers For Action SW but also other bike groups to once again join me in riding to Essex not as Superheroes but as Minions to help raise more smiles and more importantly memories for Stanley and family.

The start point will be at Weymouth Football Cafe DT4 9XJ and leaving at 08.30am SHARP. 
Once again we will be finishing the ride at The Willow, Hodings Road, Harlow CM20 1NN.
Jo at The Willow has kindly offered to help support us again like the 2025 ride.
There will be no fee to join the ride because of the mileage involved and an overnight stay if needed and it's a FUNraiser not a fundraiser.

SADLY this is not Learner friendly as we are taking quickest route involving motorways, apologies to you learner riders..
So on May 23rd 2026 dress up as Minions, ride 160+ miles as a Minion and meet Stanley and put a well deserved beaming smile on his face..
Let's make it better than the 2025 ride which was more awesomer than the previous 3 rides JUST... again so much laughter and smiles not only from us but from the public all the way from Weymouth, Dorset to Harlow, Essex..
