- **Event Description**: GREAT NEWS! PHIA is hosting its 1st Annual Thanksgiving Blood Drive!

Thanks to our neighbor Steve Den Herder for his idea and research into this! We’re excited to partner with the American Red Cross on November 22, 2025 to launch our first PHIA sponsored blood drive. St. Jerome’s Parish has agreed to host the event and help promote it. Collectively, we’ll work together to give back to the community in a truly life changing way since each donation we collect can save up to three lives.

There are many ways you can help, but most importantly we hope you come out to donate.

The Red Cross needs to know the number of donors in advance to plan for proper staffing/ materials, so if you, your family or friends have interest in donating, please let us know asap! 

The Red Cross requires a minimum of 30 donors to host the event.

I believe St Parish will promote this event in their Bulletin beginning the 19th, so it would be great if we filled up the Donor list before then!

We’ll send out more information here soon and to all member emails we have on file. Please let us know if you have any questions or would like to help in any way.

Thank you in advance for making PHIA’s 1st Annual Thanksgiving Blood Drive a success. We’re all blessed to live here, and this would be a great way to give thanks by giving for the benefit of others.
