- **Event Start and End Date**: Thu, 06 Nov, 2025 at 08:00 pm
- **Event Description**: 'Immrám' is an experimental nonfiction film that explores the deep connections between land, language, and cultural revival in contemporary Ireland. Featuring former Wexford hurling captain Diarmuid Lyng, Siobhán de Paor, their children, and their wider community, the film follows a journey through pilgrimage, wild retreats, and everyday life. At its heart is a 110km walk led by Siobhán, carrying Tuireann to Ardmore,

supported by a group of women and the men who made camp along the way. Diarmuid reclaims hurling beyond the GAA, creating space for reflection and renewal. Guiding the film’s spirit is the voice of philosopher John Moriarty, whose reflections on place, myth, and presence echo throughout. 'Immrám' is a film about living differently, rooted in the here and now. A recipient of the Arts Council of Ireland 2024 Project Award.

'Immrán' premiered at the 2025 Galway Film Fleadh last July.
