There Was A Crooked Man was published in 2017, and was shortlisted for the Irish Independent Crime Fiction Novel of the Year. Eoghan Finn / PlaywrightEoghan Rua Finn is 37 years old. He has been writing poetry, plays and screenplays for fifteen years. His works include Come Along the Road Until You Stop Dead, The Blackstairs Trilogy and Amongst Men. In 2019 Eoghan Rua was awarded a Wexford County Council bursary for the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Co. Monaghan. In 2020 Eoghan Rua was one of eight writer’s selected for the Wexford Playwrights Studio, facilitated by Billy Roche and Ben Barnes.In 2022 Eoghan Rua won the Wexford Playwright Commission to write a new play commemorating the revolutionary period in Wexford. Amongst Men was produced by Four Rivers Theatre in 2023.
