- **Event Description**: The 2025 running of this event took place at the same venue on Dec 14th in what can only be described as true cross country conditions. It should have taken place last January but the weather got in the way; with year end approaching further weather-induced rescheduling was out of the question. One thing is sure: everyone who ran that day will remember it, tucking it away in their box of heroic achievements!  
Anyway, regarding the 2026 edition, we can not guarantee that there will be blue skies and sunshine; we can, however, assure you that you will not run in a more naturally stunning location than this. The distances are very manageable, 4km for women (and 65+ men), 6km for men (35+ to 60+).  
Hosts Kilmore AC will have signposts from the main Wexford - Kilmore road and from Tomhaggard village. 
(The cover pic of SBR legend Billy Harpur was taken in Lingstown in 2023. Billy ran the 80+ category last Sunday.)
