In fact, whiskey is our number one selling spirit, so for June we’re putting Wine Down Wednesday on the bench and giving whiskey its own night.

Welcome to Wewa Whiskey Wednesday.

On the third Wednesday of every month, we’ll pick a style of whiskey, pair it with food, and spend a couple of hours learning why one bottle tastes completely different from the next. No whiskey snobs. No fancy lectures. No pretending to taste notes of saddle leather and your grandfather’s toolbox.

Just good whiskey, good food, and good company.

For our first event, we’re diving into Rye Whiskey.

Rye has a reputation for being bold, spicy, and full of character. Some folks love it. Some folks think they don’t. Either way, we’re going to taste our way through several rye whiskeys and pair them with foods designed to bring out the flavors that make rye unique.

Whether you’re the person with a whiskey collection at home or the person who usually just points at the shelf and says, “Give me that one,” you’ll fit right in.

This isn’t a class.

It’s a gathering of people who enjoy good food, good drinks, and learning something new without taking themselves too seriously.

Seats will be limited so everyone gets the full experience.
