Cento Miglia – a New Event for 2026!
Velo29 are excited to get another new event on the road! Cento Miglia (100 miles in Italian) is a wonderful ride in some of Yorkshire’s most lovely scenery, especially delightful in early May, when the sun always shines :-)
The NEW HQ at Kirk Deighton Rangers Junior FC is a really great place to start a ride from, with wonderful facilities and just off the A1M at Wetherby. It’s a really great access point to some brilliant Yorkshire riding!
We’ve got 3 routes as always. The short at 73km is 1 of our more challenging short routes, mainly due to the 1,000m of vert!
The medium is a lovely ride, the first part is mostly rolling towards the lovely feed at Fewston, after which things get a bit more serious, especially the climb to Greenhow, but not the version you know, this time we descend to Patley Bridge!
The long as always, is a tough one; we say goodbye to the medium at Patley Bridge and shortly tackle the little-known but vicious Wath Bank! We are rewarded with the awesome Loft House descent and another great feed at Fearby Village Hall.
A great new medal for this new route, all the usual Velo29 features! We can’t wait to see you at Cento Miglia!
