This year, Westwood resident registration begins on Friday, May 1st - $350 per child. Non-resident Registration begins Monday, May 11th (spaces limited) - $600 per child. See parent handbook below. Those who prefer to register in person can do so at the Westwood Community Center, 55 Jefferson Ave. starting May 1 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. DEADLINE TO REGISTER FOR CAMP IS MAY 29th THERE IS A $25.00 LATE FEE AFTER MAY 29TH IF OPENINGS ARE AVAILABLE. This is a reminder of a few important policies for Brookside Park Camp (Grades 4-8) 1) With parental/guardian authorization, only campers in grades 6-8 at Brookside Park may leave the park for lunch from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm or at the end of the day. All children must sign in and out. Notes can be sent when exceptions are necessary. Campers in grades 4-5 must remain at the park. 2) An ice cream truck will visit Brookside Park almost every afternoon at 1:00 p.m. with prices from $1-$3. Specific dates TBD. 3) Bus trips to Land of Make Believe, Darlington Park, Tomahawk Lake, Splashplex, and Splashdown Beach are for camper in grades 5-8 only. Additionally, children who do not know how to swim will not be permitted to sign up for any of the bus trips involving swimming. 4) There will be no trip refunds after the first day of camp! This new policy is due to the overwhelming number of cancellations that have occurred in recent years. Please speak with your child about trips and discuss your summer travel plans before booking trips. Please take the time to review the handbook, calendars and trip information prior to registration.
