WV’s Largest Yard Sale Weekend has been canceled due to recent flooding and its impact on participating communities.

However, many of the vendors already registered for the flea market at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum have told us they would still like to continue.

After speaking with our vendors, we have decided that the 2026 TALA Flea Market will remain open as scheduled on August 7, 8, and 9.

This will now be a standalone flea market rather than part of WV’s Largest Yard Sale Weekend. Attendance and the number of participating vendors may be different from previous years. However, shoppers can still expect antiques, collectibles, handmade goods, household items, oddities and unexpected finds on the historic Asylum lawn.

We encourage the community to stop by, support the vendors and help us make the best of a difficult situation.

VENDOR INFORMATION

Vendors must register directly through our office.

Call 304-269-5070 and be prepared to provide:

• Your name
• Number of spaces needed
• A brief description of what you will be selling

Vendor details:

• Setup begins at 6:00 AM Friday and is first come, first served
• Vendor spaces are $35 per 10-by-10 space for all three days
• Register early and pay $30 for all three days
• Additional spaces are $25 each
• Vendor hours are 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Tables and tents are not provided
