Please bring an evening meal/picnic to eat halfway at Brean Down Fort, where we will hopefully catch a gorgeous sunset there.
(I'm planning to bring a curry).

Please try and car share, as we won't have much parking there. 
Park anywhere near "Uphill Village Car Park" along the road "Uphill Way". Post Code: BS23 4XP

We first walk up the hill to the church and views of Brean Down, WSM and Uphill harbour. Then the walk is quite flat, from Uphill to Brean walking on paths, Roads and sandy Beach. When we get to Brean Down this is where the very steep hill climb starts. We then walk along the top of Brean Down for the absolutely gorgeous views. We stop at the Fort to explore the area, eat our food and admire the sunset. 
Sunset time is 18:27.

Walking the last half of the walk back we will be in the dark, so please bring torches.
I hope to be back at the cars about 10pm, just in time for last orders in the Pub.

There is a potential of cattle on multiple sections of this walk, so not suitable for dogs.
