We wanted to bring Samuel here because his style is unlike anything else in the scene. It's rooted in authentic connection and flow, and it comes from somewhere no other artist we know is dancing from.

15+ years of movement research. Choreographer and international instructor. He pulls from Brazilian Zouk, contact improvisation, capoeira, acrobatics, floorwork, tango, contemporary, forró and samba de gafieira.

CATHERINE SIMARD
Montreal dance artist, 14+ years of social dancing. Choreographer, instructor and international performer. Zouk, kizomba, blues, West Coast Swing, salsa, bachata, lindy hop, jive, contact impro.

? 7:00 to 8:30 PM | Workshop
Connection, musicality, flow, elasticity, creative movement. Guided exercises that deepen your Zouk and carry over into any other partner dance. Taught in French and English.

? 8:30 PM to Midnight | Dance Social
A DJ set prepared just for the night. Zouk at the core, mixed with fusion tracks that leave room to play.

✨ Who is it for?
Anyone seeking connection, flow and partner work. Brazilian Zouk, contemporary and contact improv dancers, or any other social dancers who want to try Zouk.
No experience required.

CATHERINE SIMARD
Artiste de danse montréalaise, plus de 14 ans de danse sociale. Chorégraphe, instructrice et performeuse internationale. Zouk, kizomba, blues, West Coast Swing, salsa, bachata, lindy hop, jive, contact impro.

? 19h à 20h30 | Atelier
Connexion, musicalité, flow, élasticité, mouvement créatif. Des exercices guidés qui approfondissent ton Zouk et se transposent dans n'importe quelle autre danse de couple. Donné en français et en anglais.

? 20h30 à minuit | Soirée de danse
Un set DJ préparé spécialement pour la soirée. Du Zouk au cœur, mélangé à des morceaux fusion qui laissent place au jeu.

Toute personne qui cherche la connexion, le flow et la danse de couple. Danseurs de Brazilian Zouk, de contemporain, de contact impro, ou de toute autre danse sociale qui veulent essayer le Zouk.
