Wakefield Valley Golf Course in Carroll County. The old golf course has a nice variety of habitat, so it is always a great place to bird. This time of year, you can expect to see a variety of year-round resident birds as well as some early migrants, including swallows, warblers, vireos, and flycatchers. The trails are fairly level and nearly all paved. There are several places for people to turn around if they want to leave before we finish the roughly 2.5-mile loop.
